Clirio Co-presents at Mine Closure 2022

Clirio’s own Gerald Magnusson co-presented with BGC Engineering their paper entitled ‘Holographic models of closure landscapes for stakeholder engagement: when you need more than words and pictures’ at the recent Mine Closure 2022 Conference in Brisbane, Australia.

Helmed by BGC’s Kathryn Franklin, the paper’s contributors included Joan Roca, Bill Burton, Nick Enos from BGC, Chris MacInnis from CIRNAC and Gerald Magnusson from Clirio.

We hope that by sharing the experience of sharing information in this way that the state of practice for creating holistic and sustainable mine closure designs that reflect the input of rights holders and stakeholders can be advanced.

You can read the full paper here. You can also read the case study that outlines how Clirio has created a suite of 3D content (video fly-throughs, holographic presentations and downloadable apps) to assist CIRNAC in telling this story to the community and gain stakeholder engagement through this process.
